Last year, there wasn’t a suicide awareness walk in my city. This year, Nick’s best friend growing up is putting together a group to organize one.

I so much wish I could go back and hug him. I get sad every year that he didn’t feel he could go on, that he felt so hopeless.

Since I’m in the group organizing the walk, my plan is to put up some posters at school if the principal is okay with it. I’d like to get some of the kids involved.

I’ve got more to say, but thats a topic for another day. Tonight I’m just going to leave it there.
