Ok, so I figured after my last post that I’d check the fan site at CBS to see what was said about Warrick/Gary coming back next year.  What I read is that he’s definitely going to be around for Season 9.  He plead guilty to the drug charges and will need to participate in a drug rehab type program by late 2009. 

That sounds about average for a first time charge, so it doesn’t sound like he got off light because he’s a celebrity (regardless of Brad Paisley’s song Celebrity LOL).  So we’ll see how it plays out.  I will certainly miss William’s Grissom character on the show.  They need to find another geek type not a cop type since that is what distinguished this show from the spin-offs.
