Money and the Environment

Ok, so I got too busy this week to post the green suggestions like I said I was going to. Right now I’m trying to share a computer with my 17 year old… not fun at all 😛 However, when I was looking for an environmental tip to post tonight, I found one that will save you money as well as helping the environment.
When you make your trips to the store, buy everything you are going to need for the week.
It’ll help the environment,
- You won’t be using the gas to drive there again, not to mention the gas from driving around the parking lot looking for a spot.
- Your refrigerator and freezer are more energy efficient when they are operating when mostly full.
it’ll help your cash flow:
- It’s easier to resist the impulse items if you only see them once instead multiple times from each trip
- You’ll save money on electricity with your fridge and freezer operating more efficiently.
